Biography
Who’s that girl?
Sara Dastjani is a Persian-German artist and a true multi-talent. After making a name for herself as an actress and author from Stuttgart to Los Angeles, she has found her voice: in her music, her visuals and her creative direction, she brings her ideas and her legacy to life with confidence.
“I always dreamed of live performances on stage,” Sara remembers. Born in Tehran and raised in Stuttgart, she started with ballet and piano, took part in musicals, and at 13 won a music prize with Tchaikovsky’s “The Nightingale.”
At 17, Sara was on her own, but the dream of the big stage, the flashing lights and the Hollywood Hills never left her. She studied at the New York Film Academy for TV and Film and then film and theatre at the Stella Adler Academy in Hollywood. Along the way she became the face of beauty brands and trade shows, walked runway shows and appeared in music videos by Yo Gotti, Lil Uzi Vert and Megan Thee Stallion.
A businesswoman and entrepreneur, or as Sara puts it: “All self-made, except for the French nails.” Back in Germany, she hosts on TV, radio and online, wrote her first bestseller, “What Men and Women Really Want,” and plays the lead role in “Die Wiederkehr” by and with Ralf Bauer, as well as in TV series like “K11” and “Stichtag.”
Today, Sara brings all of her talents together: acting, hosting, music, writing and creative direction. In front of the camera, on stage and behind the scenes, she tells stories with a vision that is entirely her own.
